Wright Township Police Department
A
joint investigation by the Wright Township Police Department and the
Rice Township Police Department resulted in the arrest of Michael John
Pac, 30 years old, of Rice Township, for
making terroristic threats towards Rice Elementary School. On Saturday,
August 16th, a Wright Township Family returned home from vacation to
messages on their home voice mail. One of the messages was inaudible
while the others threatened to blow up the school and a major shooting
on the first day. Crestwood Superintendent Joseph Gorham was notified
and extra security was planned for the first day of school while the
investigation continued.
