WRIGHT TWP. — There will be no school for all Crestwood students Wednesday because of a busing issue found through an audit, according to school board president Bill Jones.
The board held an emergency executive session tonight after discovering a transportation issue at approximately noon, officials say.
Neither Jones nor district solicitor Jack Dean would elaborate on what exactly that issue was. However, Dean did say teachers accompanied students on every bus after class Tuesday.
“Right now, the busing company is not in compliance with the state or our contract,” said Jones. “We will have another meeting tomorrow (Wednesday). By approximately 4 p.m., we’ll have some sort of idea where we’re going.”
