A deadly shooting inside a Pennsylvania municipal building.
Investigators say a gunman opened fire, killing a township worker in
Paradise Township not long after he got to his job. A suspect is now in
custody. Police are piecing together what they know about the suspect
and are looking into any connection to the victim.

The gunman walked inside the Paradise Township municipal building in Monroe County (in the POCONOS) about 8:20 a.m. and opened fire, according to police and township officials. State and local police rushed to the municipal building, arresting the suspect without incident.
The victim was identified as Michael Tripus, 65, of Stroudsburg. The township’s website listed him as the sewage enforcement and building code officer.
