cast it away

Isaiah 31.7:For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

Isaiah 3:1   For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, Isaiah 3:2   The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, Isaiah 3:3   The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of SILVER...Get thee hence   isa 30.22

Ezekiel 7.19:They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Isaiah 13.17:Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

Zephaniah 1:18   Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Isaiah 31.7:For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

Helaman 6

9 And it came to pass that they became exceedingly rich, both the Lamanites and the Nephites; and they did have an exceeding plenty of gold, and of silver, and of all manner of precious metals, both in the land south and in the land north.

10 Now the land south was called Lehi, and the land north was called Mulek, which was after the son of Zedekiah; for the Lord did bring Mulek into the land north, and Lehi into the land south.

11 And behold, there was all manner of gold in both these lands, and of silver, and of precious ore of every kind; and there were also curious workmen, who did work all kinds of ore and did refine it; and thus they did become rich.

    1. [31] And now behold, he had got great hold upon the hearts of the Nephites; yea, insomuch that they had become exceedingly wicked; yea, the more part of them had turned out of the way of righteousness, and did trample under their feet the commandments of God, and did turn unto their own ways, and did build up unto themselves idols of their gold and their silver.
