the books of mormon & maccabbees changed my life, my thinking. its in the KJV that, God gave a law, and death penalty was the consequence for violation. the book of mormon is the history of the wars that pursued . here in america, the death penalty is also a thing, but AFTER DUE PROCESS and a death warrant signed by the governor.

Mormon 8:27 And it shall come in a day when the blood of saints shall cry unto the Lord, because of secret combinations and the works of darkness.



Ether 11:15, 22 And it came to pass that there arose a rebellion among the people, because of that secret combination which was built up to get power and gain;


Helaman 6:17, yea, they began to seek to get gain that they might be lifted up one above another; therefore they began to commit secret murders, and to rob and to plunder, that they might get gain.

3 Nephi 9:9
