Mormon vision

  • Lehi's Vision (1 Nephi 8, 11): Lehi dreams of a vast wilderness, a path, an iron rod (the word of God), a fountain of living water (love of God), and a Tree of Life (love of God/Christ). He also sees a great and spacious building (the pride of the world) where mockers dwell.
  • Nephi's Vision (1 Nephi 11-14): Nephi sees his father's vision and is given a more detailed vision, including the virgin Mary, the birth of Jesus (the Son of God), His ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and the future history of his people.
  • Alma the Younger's Vision (Mosiah 27, Alma 36): After being an enemy of the Church, Alma is visited by an angel and experiences a powerful vision of the power of Jesus Christ, leading to his profound conversion and repentance.
  • The Savior's Appearance (3 Nephi 11-28): After His resurrection, Jesus appears to the people in the Americas, speaks to them, shows them His wounds, teaches them, heals them, and establishes His church, providing a foundational vision for the new covenant people.
